“I never got to physically touch Neil because I was always in PPE. I didn’t kiss him because I was masked. I didn’t touch him because I was wearing gloves.”

— I don’t normally write about public health but after I noticed that multiple women in my own life had suffered from postpartum depression during the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized someone needed to write about it. So I did a lot of research about postpartum for The Cut, New York Magazine‘s vertical for women’s issues.
